Payment

We accept payment from all major credit / debit cards and PayPal. We are currently unable to accept American Express payments, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Prices And Product Specifications

We reserve the right to change prices and product specifications at any time without notice. All our jewellery is hand-finished and therefore slight differences in finish can occur. Please see product specification for approximate dimensions of jewellery, please note dimensions do not include findings, i.e. jump rings, earring findings etc.

Shipping

We try to keep stock of all our collections in silver. If we have your item in stock, we aim to dispatch within 3 working days. For silver items, we do not have in stock, and for gold and all other metals we need to quote the following dispatch times –

  • Silver & 9ct gold – 4 weeks
  • 18ct gold – 5 weeks
  • All other metals – 5-6 weeks

If you need an item sooner, please contact us by emailing karen@karenduncanjewellery.com and we will do our best to meet your request. Please note in the run up to Christmas our workshop is very busy and therefore delivery times may be longer. Ordering in plenty of time is encouraged. Please contact us for more information if required via our contact form.

UK Deliveries

Postage for orders being sent to a UK destination is £10.50 for orders under £150.00 and free for orders over £150.00.  Orders are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery as this is the most reliable method and includes insurance. Orders sent this way usually arrive at their destination within 2 working days of dispatch.

International Deliveries

Postage for orders being sent overseas (outwith the UK) is £25.00. All overseas orders are sent via Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed as this is the most reliable method and includes insurance. Orders sent this way usually arrive at their destination within 10 – 14 working days of dispatch.

Customs And Import Duties

Orders being sent overseas (outwith the UK) may incur a charge from local customs or import duties. Unfortunately, we are not able to advise on what the charges may be as we have no control over them. For further details, we advise you to contact your local customs office.

Returns

Silver items – If for any reason, you are not satisfied with your order it can be returned within 14 days of receipt for an exchange or refund (excluding postage). Refunds will be made by the original payment method. Please keep the original packaging and contact us first before returning your order via our contact form. Gold and all other metals – we cannot accept returns for these orders as they are specifically made to order. In the interest of hygiene, we are unable to accept returns for earrings unless there is a manufacturing fault.

Order Amendments and Cancellations

Cancelling A Silver Order

If, once you have placed an order you decide you want to cancel your order please contact us immediately. If your order has not yet been despatched we will refund your order in full (including postage). If your order has already been despatched you will need to return it. Upon receipt of your order we will examine it and refund the cost of the item(s), excluding postage. Refunds will be made by original payment method.
Please note, for hygiene purposes we cannot accept returns of earrings once an order has been despatched.

Cancellations For Items Other Than Silver

Please note, for any special metal orders, i.e. gold, platinum, palladium, etc, once work has started on your order we regret you are unable to cancel it (this is usually within 24 hours of receiving an order).

Damaged Or Faulty Goods

If your order has been damaged in transit or is faulty please keep the original packaging and contact us within 7 days of receipt via our contact form. We will examine the order upon receipt of the returned goods and if we fault lies with us we will off an exchange or refund – including the postage.

Refund Of Postage

If an order is returned because the customer has changed their mind then postage will not be refunded. If an order is returned because there is a fault, then upon receipt of the returned goods we will examine them and if the fault lies with us we will refund both the original postage and subsequent return postage charges incurred.
